The Qur’an mentions several fruits that modern science has shown to have a preventive effect on several diseases. Fruits, which benefit the human body in many ways, also taste very good. In the Qur’an, Allah draws attention to their diversity and beauty and calls people to ponder upon their miraculous creation:

He sends down water from the sky from which We bring forth growth of every kind, and from that We bring forth the green shoots and from them We bring forth close-packed seeds, and, from the spathes of the date-palm, date clusters hanging down, and gardens of grapes and olives and pomegranates, both similar and dissimilar. Look at their fruits as they bear fruit and ripen. There are signs in that for people who believe. (Surah al-An’am: 99)

1. BANANAS

And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. (Surah al-Waqi'a: 29)

3. FIGS

I swear by the fig and the olive. (Surah at-Tin: 1)

And by it He makes crops grow for you and olives and dates and grapes and fruit of every kind. There is certainly a Sign in that for people who reflect. (Surah an-Nahl: 11)

5. GRAPES

And in the earth there are tracts side by side and gardens of grapes and corn and palm trees having one root and (others) having distinct roots— they are watered with one water, and We make some of them excel others in fruit; There are Signs in that for people who use their intellect. (Surah ar-Ra'd: 4)

6. POMEGRANATE

7. MILK

There is instruction for you in cattle. From the contents of their bellies, between that which is to be eliminated (from the animal’s body) and (its) blood, We give you pure milk to drink, easy for drinkers to swallow. (Surah an‐Nahl: 66)

"..and when you said: o musa! we cannot bear with one food, therefore pray lord on our behalf to bring forth for us out of what the earth grows, of its herbs and its cucumbers and its garlic and its lentils and its onions..." (Surah Bakarah: 61)

12. HONEY

Your Lord revealed to the bees: "Build dwellings in the mountains and the trees, and also in the structures which men erect. Then eat from every kind of fruit and travel the paths of your Lord, which have been made easy for you to follow." From inside them comes a drink of varying colors, containing healing for mankind. There is certainly a Sign in that for people who reflect. (Qur'an, 16:69)
 13. FISH & SEA FOOD

Anything you catch in the sea is lawful for you, and all food from it, for your enjoyment and that of travelers… (Qur'an, 5:96)

BENEFITS: 1. Low in saturated fat 2. Rich source of protein and iron 3. Contains B vitamins, including B-12 4. Promotes normal fetal growth and child development 4. Richest source of omega-3 fatty acids, which may be helpful in the prevention and treatment of: • heart disease • high blood pressure • inflammation • mental health disorders • diabetes • digestive disorders • autoimmune disease • cancer

14. MEAT

"Therefore, eat of that on which Allah's name has been mentioned if you are believers in His verses." (Qur'an 6:118)
This verse is in reference to meat, because meat and pronouncing Allah's name over it is a topic of significance and a point of contention in the Qur'an

"Therefore eat of what Allah has given you, lawful and good (things), and give thanks for Allah's favor if Him do you serve." (16:114)
