Holy Quran describes the prophet

The perfections of Rasulullah salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam’s (s.a.w.) prophethood are borne out by the Holy Quran itself in various places….…

And he speaks not of his own desire. It is but a revelation revealed. [53:3-4]

Assuredly there has been for you in the apostle of Allah an excellent pattern. [33:21]
And whatsoever the apostle gives you, take, and whatsoever he forbids you, refrain from. [59:7]
Whosoever obeys the apostle has indeed obeyed Allah. [4:80]

And whosoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, he indeed achieved a mighty achievement. [33:71]
And whosoever obeys Allah and the apostle, then those shall be with them who Allah has blessed – from among the prophets, the saints, the martyrs, and the righteous. Excellent are these as a company! [4:69]

And whosoever opposes the apostle after the truth has become manifest unto him, and follows other way than that of the believers. We shall let him follow that to which he has turned, and shall roast him in Hell – an evil retreat. [4:115]

Say you (Muhammad): if you want to love Allah, then follow me, and Allah shall love you and forgive you your sins; And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. [3:31]
And We have not sent you except as a mercy unto the worlds. [21:107]

Lastly, as a gesture of special love for Prophet (s.a.w.) the following verse was revealed: Verily Allah and His angels send their benedictions upon the Prophet. O you who believe! Send your benedictions upon him and salute him with a goodly salutation. [33:56]
