Verily know that the history of Mawlid was firstly innovated by the Fatimids a severed branch of Shi’ite sect, the Fatimids are known in consensus among the Scholars of Ahl-Sunnah as Kufaar (disbelievers). So after knowing that this is a celebration being innovated by the Kufaar why would anyone want to support this and claiming it is something from Islam. Thus there is no mention of (Mawlid) in the Quran & Sunnah which entails it to be an invalid act that is not acceptable. In order for us as Muslim to claim something is from Islam it must be backed up with Quran & Sunnah and not of whims and desires. Our religion is pure because of its pure fundamental Shar'ee principles that have been sent and preserved by Allah The All-Mighty, therefor anything that is corrupted will be exposed as the history of Mawlid is among the many exposed misguided examples.
